Le Mans Moto 3 Free Practice 1
!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!
Well it’s a wet and cold start to this weekend at Le Mans for MotoGP.
Moto 3 saw 17 bikes hit the deck in FP1. The premier riders managed to keep the shiny side up despite some wiggles. Then back to back to crashes with Moto 2 and 11 incidents. The accidents then continued into FP2 session for all the classes. Luca Marini got some serious air time in Moto 2 causing a red flag. *He’s okay.
I’ve included 2 highsides and
the compilation video. The MotoGP feed is littered with a dozen wipe-out videos. I hope your Friday is going better!

I feel like most people wouldn’t ride the speed limit on a road and day that looked like that, let alone race on one.
Mad men.

Bad conditions for sure, though Miller is making everyone else look like water amateurs (yes, I know, I’m behind schedule). :P

Don’t forget how ridiculously fast these riders are in comparison to a regular jagoff. Also, modern rain tires are really, really good. I’ve raced in them and they provide a shocking amount of grip and confidence, although obviously at a slower pace than slicks.
From my experience visor fogging is the biggest issue with riding in the rain .
